WCW’s Clash of the Champions comes to the WWE Network

WWE has added all the Clash of the Champions shows starting from the first one from March 27, 1988 all the way to the last one from January 21, 1997.

There are a total of 35 Clash of the Champions shows, special shows part of the WCW calendar that were created and aired on TBS to fight with WrestleMania. In fact, the first Clash of the Champions on TBS aired on free TV on the same night as WrestleMania IV and featured Sting taking on Ric Flair.

Eventually the show moved away from being competition to WrestleMania for obvious reasons and it was transformed to be a special just like WWE had with Saturday Night’s Main Event.

All Clash shows are part of the Vault section on the WWE Network.
