Wade Barrett to do commentary on NXT tonight

I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news! Well, actually, it’s great news! ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that former Nexus leader Wade Barrett will be returning to NXT tonight to be on the commentary team.

The website states that for now, this is just a one-time deal only and Barrett hasn’t signed a full-time contract with the company.

Barrett, who won the first season of NXT, has not been seen on WWE television since 2016 when he refused to extend his deal. He recently started doing commentary for the NWA as well.

The British star is a former five-time Intercontinental champion and King of the Ring winner.
