Vince McMahon addresses Raw crowd before the show

Prior to start of last night’s Raw, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon made a rare public appearance as it was the last WWE event ever at Nassau Coliseum.

McMahon thanked every WWE Superstar who performed at the Coliseum and every person from Long Island who attended their events in the past.

“Thank you for the memories, thank you for the good times,” McMahon said to a big ovation from the crowd.

The arena, which opened in 1972, will be shutting down before renovations start.
