Valhalla announces departure from WWE

Sarah Logan, who for the past few years wrestled under the name Valhalla, revealed in a post on social media that her WWE contract is not being renewed and is also exiting the company.

“I come to you with tears in my eyes cause our time has come to a sudden end,” she wrote. “WWE informed me yesterday that they are letting my contract expire.”

She said that being honest, her ego was “damaged” as you always assume that when you end a lifelong career, there is going to be a grand exit.

“But here I am, using the notes app on my phone typing up a goodbye letter to an entity that will forget I was even there,” she continued. “I truly take no offense to this, my career as it was is getting usurped by my vocation and it’s all on a Divine timeline that I trust deeply.”

She hinted that she will have a “clean break” from professional wrestling and will be taken care of by her husband Erik, who currently forms part of The Viking Raiders.

“I love all the people you’ve brought into my life but my social media page won’t be about you anymore. It will share only the parts of me that I wish and none of that will be wrestling. I’m more of a clean break kinda girl and the other calls to me will be taking my full attention. With all my love, Sarah,” she concluded.

Her last match was in February 2024 as two months later she announced that she was pregnant with her second child.

Logan returned to WWE in 2022, first making an appearance at the Royal Rumble and then returning full-time in November with The Viking Raiders under the name Valhalla.
