Triple H unsure if Charlotte Flair will keep appearing on NXT and discusses finish of main event

Discussing the main event with the wrestling media in a conference call, Triple H said that he’s unsure if Charlotte Flair will remain part of NXT but he’s not 100% sure either way. HHH said that Flair has always been a member of the Raw roster and that will be her home even though she’s been working on Smackdown and NXT as well lately.

Asked about the finish which saw Shirai pin Ripley for the title rather than Flair, Triple H said that it was done on purpose and for a specific reason. “Some people will read into that and go ‘Oh, Charlotte can’t even get beat!’ I don’t buy into that, first of all.” HHH put over Charlotte saying she works as hard as anyone and she’s also a great performer and deserves everything she has got so far.

“Hopefully, if we get to tell the story the way we want to over the coming months, I think three or four months from now you’ll go, ‘I know exactly why they did the finish that they did,'” Triple H added.
