Triple H explains who knew about Cena’s secretive heel turn

Speaking to Peter Rosenberg during an interview for the WWE YouTube channel ahead of WrestleMania, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said that the John Cena heel turn at Elimination Chamber was kept so secret that not even Cena’s wife knew.

Levesque said that from WWE’s side, only three execs from the creative team knew, himself and two others.

“Nobody else knew. Cena knew, obviously. Cena didn’t even tell his wife. Cena didn’t tell his manager. Cody knew. Cody told no one. Obviously Rock knew,” Triple H said.

He also said Travis Scott “sort of knew,” but “he was just f*cking going along, just being along for the ride. You know, doing exactly what they told him to do, which is at some point slap Cody.”

Triple H joked that he was going to slap Cody whether Cena wanted it or not, because Cena was kept out of the loop on that one!
