TNA wrestlers invade NXT

The TNA invasion on NXT started last night on The CW with an angle which saw several TNA stars striking in the main event.

The NXT vs TNA title-for-title match between Oba Femi and Trick Williams was interrupted by Santana, who was on the receiving end of a slap by Williams. Santana returned the favor and the referee called for an end to the match.

During the match, several TNA stars were shown in the audience and once the match was over, all hell broke loose.

Matt Cardona, Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Mance Warner, Cedric Alexander, Zachary Wents, The IInspiration, Moose, Lei Ying Lee, Victoria Crawford, Eric Young, Steve Maclin, Steph De Lander, and others stormed the ring and the NXT locker room emptied as well resulting in a massive brawl.

The invasion was expected after the announcement of last week’s title for title match which did not sit down well with TNA stars, arguing that the TNA title should be defended against TNA stars.
