TNA World champion Joe Hendry appears at the Royal Rumble

Do you believe? Indianapolis did!

New TNA World champion Joe Hendry showed up at the Royal Rumble, coming out at #15 to a big, big pop from the crowd who sang along to his theme song.

“Somebody somewhere must have said his name because he has appeared, the most viral Superstar of the past 12 months,” said Wade Barrett on commentary.

“The TNA World Champion has entered the Royal Rumble,” said the TNA X account.

Hendry carried the TNA World title with him and was acknowledged as the champion during the broadcast. While he had a good showing, Hendry was eliminated by The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.

Hendry was a popular guy in the city and had long lines waiting for him at WrestleCon during the weekend.

He had previously appeared on NXT but never made it on any of the main shows.
