TKO wants Wrestlepalooza an annual event on the same level as top five PLEs

TKO Chief Operating Officer Mark Shapiro said during the Goldman Sachs Communacopia & Technology Conference Wednesday that they’re hoping to have Wrestlepalooza an annual event on the same level as WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

Shapiro said that Paul “Triple H” Levesque is working tirelessly creatively to deliver on this show and hopes that Wrestlepalooza “is a winner” and could be a “marketing bonanza if we do it right.”

Wrestlepalooza will be kicking off the ESPN deal with WWE, becoming the first premium live event on the streaming service as part of a new, $1.6 billion contract.

The show is taking place from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 20. Over 10,000 tickets have already been distributed.
