Three NXT titles swap hands at Stand & Deliver

Three NXT titles swapped hands at NXT Stand & Deliver earlier today at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Indi Hartwell won a six-woman ladder match to become the new NXT Women’s champion, a match which had tons of high spots and was received very well by the crowd. Hartwell was selling a leg injury and couldn’t get up the ladder herself but she got an assist from none other than Dexter Lumia, who came from behind, lifted her on his shoulder, climbed the ladder with her and then she unhooked to win.

Hartwell – and Lumis – then appeared to celebrate with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae following his unsanctioned match victory against Grayson Waller.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn also got their hands on the NXT Women’s Tag Team championships, their first titles under the NXT brand. Fyre and Dawn ended Fallon Henley’s and Kiana James’ reign after just 56 days.

And then, decked in LA Lakers colors, Carmelo Hayes dethroned Bron Breakker to become the new NXT champion. Hayes was the clear favorite inside the arena and Breakker was even booed multiple times. The former NXT North American champion won the match after he hit the Nothing But Net finishing move.

After the match, Breakker took the NXT title from the referee and handed it over to Hayes, raising his arms as well in a passing of the torch moment.
