The Rock will have his first proper wrestling match since WrestleMania 29 against John Cena some 11 years ago as he teams up with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins tonight.

Rock did technically have a “match” at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas, against Rowan of The Wyatt Family but that “match” lasted just a few seconds only and did not test Rock’s cardio and ring rust.

Tonight it will be a whole different ballgame and Johnson admitted that he’s been training his ass off to get back in ring-shape, something different than just being in great shape.

This will be The Rock’s 12th match at WrestleMania, having wrestled on eight consecutive WrestleManias from 13 to 20, then followed that with two back-to-back main events against John Cena for 28 and 29. His last match was the one at 32 vs Rowan.
