The Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, honored the nWo on its 30th anniversary yesterday by putting a graphic of Hogan, Nash, and Hall from Bash at the Beach and the nWo logo.

It was on July 7, 1996 that Hogan shocked the world by turning heel, joining the Outsiders at Bash at the Beach which was held at the Ocean Center. The three, showered in trash by fans, proclaimed themselves to be the “new world order,” a faction then known as the nWo which took over the wrestling world for several years.

“‘WE’RE TAKING OVER.’ 30 years ago today, the New World Order was formed right here at the Ocean Center and professional wrestling was forever changed. Thanks for the memories! #nWo,” the Ocean Center wrote on social media along with a photo of the marquee.

The only surviving member of the original faction, Kevin Nash, passed from in front of the arena and also posted it on his Instagram.

“30 years ago, we created a piece of magic. Today, I felt sadness. Scott and Hulk have moved on. R.I.P NWO,” Nash wrote.
