The Miz wins Intercontinental title for eighth time on Raw

Roman Reigns lost the Intercontinental title last night on Monday Night Raw as The Miz starts his eighth reign as champion.

There was quite a lot of interference from Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas which eventually got them ejected from ringside. Reigns survived the Skull Crushing Finale but then The Miz drove Reigns in an exposed turnbuckle and delivered his second Skull Crushing Finale for the pin and the win.

The Miz is now one reign behind Chris Jericho in terms of total reigns with the Intercontinental Title. He is also 17 days away from climbing to the second place in the combined days as champion, trailing Don Muraco and Pedro Morales who sits in first place with 619 days.
