Subscribers watched over 280 million hours of WWE content in six months

Variety is carrying an article quoting the Netflix biannual engagement report, which covers 99% of the viewing of what Netflix subscribers consumed in the first six months of the year.

The report states that WWE programming, which premiered on the giant streaming service in January, generated more than 280 million viewing hours across all its events. This includes Monday Night Raw, which is the only live WWE show that airs on Netflix in the United States.

The Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz movie Back In Action was the most-viewed movie in the first six months while the series Adolescence topped the TV chart.

Netflix measures engagement by views, which it calculates by total hours viewed divided by runtime.

Raw has been in the weekly top 10 Netflix global chart every week since it started in January.
