With Roman Reigns out of the Crown Jewel pay-per-view, a new Universal champion will be decided at the show with the winner of Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar getting the gold.

Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman was on Raw to promote the title match at Crown Jewel and Strowman interrupted him, telling Heyman that he will be defeating Lesnar and will be bringing the Universal title to Raw every single week. Strowman also said that once Reigns is back, he will get his title rematch.

Reigns is the second Superstar to surrender the title after Finn Balor had to do the same after one day due to a shoulder injury he suffered during the match for the vacant title.
