Strowman added to WrestleMania Backlash main event

The WrestleMania Backlash main event has been changed from a regular one-on-one match to a triple threat for the WWE title with the addition of Braun Strowman to the mix.

Strowman was added to the match yesterday on Raw after he beat Drew McIntyre with a powerslam thanks to interference from T-Bar and Mace.

History is not on Lashley’s side when it comes to triple threat matches as the last one he participated in, he lost the United States title back in February at Elimination Chamber and he was not even involved in the finish as Riddle pinned John Morrison to win the title.

The champ can lose the title at Backlash if the other two opponents get a finish on each other.

There are only two matches announced so far for Backlash, with the other being Bianca Belair vs Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s title.
