Stipulations added to two Takeover 36 matches

NXT Takeover 36 will feature the Undisputed Finale, a match between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly which will be the end of their feud.

The former Undisputed Era members are currently with one win each from two matches and Cole vs O’Reilly III will be a two-out-of-three falls match.

The first fall, chosen by O’Reilly, will be a regular wrestling match. The second fall, chosen by Cole, will be a street fight. If a third fall is required it will be contested inside a steel cage match, a stipulation chosen by NXT General Manager William Regal.

Adam Cole’s WWE contract is up after the show and it’s not yet known what the former NXT champion will do. Win or lose, it’s likely that this match will be his final NXT one as if he signs he will be moving to the main roster.

Speaking of Takeover 36, the Million Dollar title belt will be defended as well with LA Knight taking on Cameron Grimes. The stipulation of this match is if that Grimes loses, Ted DiBiase will become LA Knight’s butler as well.

NXT Takeover 36 takes place on Sunday, August 22 from the Capitol Wrestling Center.
