Assuming Monday Night Raw goes on as planned due to Tropical Storm Erika, former WCW champion Sting will be in the opening segment live. The announcement was made by the WWE Twitter account.

Sting has a very, very limited deal with WWE and is only contracted to do a handful of appearances during the year. The Icon received his first ever, and probably the only, WWE title shot at the upcoming Night of Champions after crashing the Seth Rollins statue unveiling this past Monday.
