Steve Austin to appear on Smackdown’s Kickoff show tonight on FOX at 7:30PM ET

A 30-minute kickoff show will lead into a brand new, season premiere of Smackdown tonight on FOX starting at 7:30PM ET.

Leading the charge will be Renee Paquette, the artist formerly known as Renee Young, who returns to anchor the broadcast with her former colleagues Booker T and Michael Cole. Paquette remains under some sort of a deal with FOX and will be doing occasional WWE-related broadcasts for the network.

Announced for the Kickoff show are Stone Cold Steve Austin, former MLB player David Ortiz, and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. WWE Superstars will also drop in during the broadcast.
