Stephanie Vaquer wins the NXT Women’s title at Roadblock

Stephanie Vaquer made history by becoming the first NXT Women’s North American and NXT Women’s champion at the same time after she defeated Giulia on last night’s episode of Roadblock on The CW.

The match was a title for title, champion vs champion, so someone was walking out of Madison Square Garden with both belts by the end of the night.

Vaquer finished off her best friend and opponent with three SSB back breakers, ending Giulia’s 63-day reign as champion. She had won it from Roxanne Perez at the NXT New Year’s Evil episode on January 7.

What happens to the NXT Women’s North American title remains to be seen but with Stand & Deliver just over a month away, it would be a great place to crown a new champion.
