The June 8 NXT Takeover show will be headlined by Samoa Joe vs Finn Balor for the NXT title in a steel cage match. The announcement was made this morning by NXT General Manager William Regal during a contract signing at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, which was broadcast on Facebook Live.

This will be the first time that a steel cage match has taken place during an NXT show. The match is also being billed as the conclusion to the rivalry, a rivalry which dates back to the end of last year and their first match at NXT Takeover: London.

Joe lost both matches against Balor at NXT London and Dallas however won the NXT title at a non-televised live event in Lowell, Massachusetts last month.
