Spoilers: Shayna Baszler gets her opponent for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV is still two months away but the road to the show has already started during the NXT television tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

One match for the event has already been confirmed, featuring the NXT Women’s title. Current champion Shayna Baszler will be taking on the new number one contender and Mae Young Classic tournament winner Kairi Sane.

Sane won the right to wrestle for the title after she defeated Nikki Cross and Candice LaRae in a triple threat match during last night’s NXT television tapings. The episode will soon on the WWE Network.

Interesting enough, Sane beat Baszler to win the Mae Young Classic tournament last year but Baszler got her hands on the NXT Women’s title quicker than Sane.

Brooklyn has seen some great NXT Women’s title matches including Sasha Banks vs Bayley in the first event, Asuka vs Bayley at Brooklyn II and Asuka vs Ember Moon at Brooklyn III.
