Former NXT Women’s North American champion Sol Ruca will have a chance to get her hands on a main roster title on next week’s episode of NXT.

Last night it was announced that Ruca will be taking on Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s United States title, a match which will be taped tonight as part of the two back-to-back TV tapings due to the holidays.

Ruca beat Bayley last week on Saturday Night’s Main Event: John Cena’s Final Match and had an impressive outing.

The 26-year-old was a double champion, holding the WWE Women’s Speed title apart from the North American title but had to surrender both titles due to an injury.
