Smackdown will feature its first ever Money In The Bank ladder match next week as the women of the blue brand will be once again participating in the gimmick match due to the questionable ending from last Sunday.

The announcement came from the returning Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan last night as he stripped Carmella of the briefcase. It was James Ellsworth who climbed the ladder on Sunday and took the briefcase, handing it over to Carmella to win the match.

The rematch will involve the same group of women – Carmella, Natalya, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Tamina – while Carmella’s sidekick James Ellsworth is banned from ringside.

Apart from this match, the Smackdown Women’s title match will also be on the line as Naomi granted Lana a rematch.
