As Michael Cole was welcoming everyone to Smackdown, a chair went flying and the Usos, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa jumped over the barricade and then were joined by Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.

Roman says he is starting off differently tonight and he is going to give everyone what they want, and he wants to hear from the Honorary Uce Sami Zayn. Sami says they are starting the year off like they ended last year. Roman starts questioning Sami about the match last week. Roman then starts yelling at Sami asking him if he wants to be him and wants to run the Bloodline.

Kevin Owens comes out. Owens tells Roman it’s time to take care of his KO problem and challenges Roman to a championship match at the Royal Rumble. Roman says whatever, I just want you out of here. Owens says he will leave but only for today and he will see him at the Rumble, and Sami I will see you when you finally take your balls out of Roman’s pocket.

We are shown Charlotte Flair arriving.

Kofi Kingston VS. Santos Escobar

Escobar with the phantom driver after some outside interference from the rest of Legado El Phantasma.

Michael Cole announces the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble will be Roman Reigns defending against Kevin Owens is now official.

Liv Morgan says she wants to be number one in the women’s Royal Rumble so she can beat all 29 other ladies.

LA Knight is interviewed by Kayla Braxton and he says he is going to Royal Rumble to beat Bray Wyatt and that isn’t an insult that is just a fact of life.

Karrion Kross & Scarlett VS. Madcap Moss & Emma

Kross catches Moss in the Kross Jacket and Moss goes out.

Winners: Karrion Kross & Scarlett

After the match, Kross puts a Mysterio mask on Moss and tells Mysterio he knows that soon that is going to be him.

Charlotte Flair is thanking the crowd and Sonya Deville comes out and challenges her for the championship right now.

Charlotte hits the spear and then locks in the figure 8 to retain her championship

Ricochet VS. Top Dollar in a Royal Rumble qualifying match

Ricochet hits Top Dollar with a shooting star press and gets the win.

Winner: Ricochet

After the match, Top Dollar offers to shake Ricochet’s hand and they hug, and Top Dollar raises his hand. Then Asante superkicked Ricochet and Top Dollar started choking Ricochet. As they continued to beat down Ricochet, Braun Strowman comes out and Hit Row takes off out of the ring.

In the locker room, the Usos are getting psyched up for their championship match and Roman tells Heyman to bring him Sami.

Sami is trying to explain he acknowledges the Tribal Chief, and he is sorry. Roman says he does not accept his apology. Roman says he holds himself to the highest standard. He needs to control his anger and he doesn’t accept his apology because he should be the one apologizing and apologizes to Sami. He says KO was right he isn’t mad at him he is mad at KO and taking out on Sami. Heyman says Roman is giving him a chance to redeem himself next week when Sami Zayn goes against Kevin Owens. Sami says he will take care of Kevin for Roman, and Sami goes to leave as The Usos music hits and Roman stops him and says no you stay here we will watch this together.

The Usos VS. Sheamus & Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship

Solo Sikoa takes out Drew outside and the Brutes come out to take out Solo. As Sheamus was getting in the ring Jimmy rolls Sheamus up and Jey held his foot on Jimmy for extra leverage to get the win.

Winners and Still Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions: The Usos

They show the locker room and Sami jumping up and down celebrating the win throwing popcorn all over the place and Roman just looking at him.
