Smackdown to air live and early from Barcelona, Spain for international viewers

Fans around the world will be able to watch Friday Night Smackdown before viewers in the United States today as the show takes place live from the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain.

Kicking off at 8PM Central European Time, Smackdown airs live on Netflix but in the U.S., the show will air on tape delay in the usual 8PM ET time slot on USA Network.

This is the first of a couple of live broadcasts from Europe as WWE visits the continent for 11 events. Raw on Monday is from Turin, Italy, Smackdown next week is from Bologna, Italy, and Raw on June 8 is from Paris, France.

There’s only one match announced so far, with Spain’s own Axiom taking on The Miz. Cody Rhodes will also address Gunther’s attack and Jade Cargill has a final message for Rhea Ripley.
