Smackdown GM Nick Aldis undergoes surgery

Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis underwent surgery yesterday for a ruptured bicep. The news was originally broken by PWInsider.com.

“Yes, the sheets had it within minutes. God bless ’em. Must be a slow news day,” Aldis wrote on X after surgery. “Anyway it was a freak accident, I’m on the mend, and I will continue to fulfill my obligations.”

Aldis is not expected to miss much, if any, television time and while he is an on-screen character, he is not involved physically, making it easier to keep him around in the current role of GM.
