Six-woman tag match announced for WrestleMania 40

A six-woman tag team match has been made official for WrestleMania after last night’s Smackdown.

After the main event of Bianca Belair vs Dakota Kai, the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Kabuki Warriors attacked Belair and Naomi came out for the save. But with the numbers still favoring Damage CTRL, Smackdown’s newest signee, Jade Cargill, walked down to even the odds.

Cargill hit the big boot on Asuka, hit a pop-up power bomb on Dakota Kai, and then delivered the Jaded finisher to Kairi Sane. The faction then retreated as the faces stood in the ring staring them down.

Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis then made the match official during a backstage segment filmed for WWE’s social media properties.
