Sheamus successfully undergoes shoulder surgery

Former WWE champion Sheamus successfully underwent shoulder surgery yesterday and is now starting his long rehab road to get back in action.

“Six anchors inserted in my left labrum,” tweeted Sheamus after he came out of surgery, noting that his shoulder was stiff but rehab would be starting today. Sheamus injured his shoulder after he went through a ladder at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view but continued to wrestle with the injury till sharp pains down his arms prompted WWE medics to order an MRI.

This is Sheamus’ first ever surgery and his first time in four years to have an extended time off out of action.
