Sheamus joins men’s Smackdown Survivor Series team

Former WWE champion Sheamus, who just returned to action following broken nose surgery, joined the men’s Smackdown Survivor Series team last night, taking the last spot available.

Sheamus won a fatal four-way match which also featured Cesaro, Jinder Mahal, and Ricochet to secure his spot and needed some assistance from Ridge Holland to win the match.

The open spot was made available after Sami Zayn was kicked out of the match after he lost to Jeff Hardy last week. The full team now includes Drew McIntyre as team captain, Hardy, Xavier Woods, Baron Corbin, and now the Celtic Warrior. They will take on Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Austin Theory, and Bobby Lashley.
