Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net is reporting that Shayna Baszler worked last night’s NXT episode as a producer.

Baszler was released from her contract in May as part of several cuts which hit the company at the time. She is still technically under the 90-day no-compete clause so it’s unclear if she got a new job or this was a tryout of some sort.

Hays said that Baszler was listed as a producer for the Kelani Jordan vs Lainey Reid match along with Oney Lorcan.

Baszler worked for WWE since 2017, spending three years in NXT before moving on to the main roster. She was released less than a year after signing a brand-new deal with the company.
