Shawn Michaels replaces Hulk Hogan on WWE tour in Australia

Shawn Michaels has replaced Hulk Hogan on the upcoming WWE tour of Australia which will kick off next week.

Hogan was supposed to be the “general manager” during the tour and earlier this year traveled to Australia to promote the non-televised shows and his participation.

With Hogan out of the picture, WWE enlisted the help of Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, who will now take over the role at the events. Michaels has not toured with WWE since his retirement and these three days will be the longest he worked for in a row for WWE since then.

WWE visits Australia starting Thursday, August 6, with a show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, then at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Friday, August 7, before wrapping up at the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney on Saturday, August 8.
