Shane McMahon vs The Miz added to WrestleMania 35

Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon will be stepping inside a WWE ring again at WrestleMania with his opponent this year being The Miz.

The match was highly expected after Shane turned on his former tag team partner at the Fastlane pay-per-view this past Sunday following their unsuccessful attempt at regaining the Smackdown Tag Team titles from The Usos.

McMahon is now doing the heel character on Smackdown and is demanding that he is introduced as the best in the word following his WWE World Cup win last November in Saudi Arabia. Being heel is not new to Shane who did the bad guy gimmick many years ago.

This is McMahon’s fourth WrestleMania match in a row, having previously wrestled The Undertaker, AJ Styles, and then teamed up with Daniel Bryan to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. It’s his first match working as a heel since his surprise return a few years ago while The Miz will be working as a babyface at Mania for the first time as well.
