Seth Rollins becomes number one contender for WWE title

Seth Rollins became the new number one contender for the WWE title after he won a fatal four-way ladder match on Raw.

Rollins, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Kevin Owens all interrupted Big E’s opening segment on the show, all pleading their case that they should get a title shot next.

Sonya Deville fixed the problem by booking a fatal four-way match between them and said that since this was the season premiere of Raw, it would also be a ladder match. All four men were previously part of the Smackdown roster but moved to Raw in the October WWE Draft.

There was no mention of when Rollins will be able to cash in his win. The next WWE pay-per-view, Survivor Series, will have the WWE vs Universal champion as main event and there will be no pay-per-view in December. If they keep this for a PPV, the next available date will be the January 1 show titled Day 1 live from Atlanta.
