Rusev out for up to a month with bicep injury

Rusev’s injury from the Main Event tapings this past Tuesday prior to Smackdown was confirmed by WWE.COM today.

Rusev sustained a proximal bicep tendon rupture during his match with Neville. AS reported earlier, the match was stopped due to the injury and Rusev was not happy about it, even chasing the timekeeper through the stands.

The injury however doesn’t seem to be that serious and the former U.S. champion is only expected to be out for up to a month. He joins his fiancé Lana who’s sidelined with a wrist injury.
