Rumored WWE HOF building not replacing NBA City at Universal Orlando

The often-rumored physical WWE Hall of Fame is not replacing the NBA City property at Universal CityWalk as Universal Orlando announced that Toothsome Chocolate Factory will moving in in that location.

NBA City, which closed last year and sits between the Hard Rock Cafe and Islands of Adventure theme park, was rumored to house the physical WWE Hall of Fame and a new WWE-themed restaurant. A report last week suggested that WWE is looking to open up the property in time for WrestleMania 33 which also takes place in Orlando.

The restaurant would be similar to The World, WWE’s former restaurant in Times Square which is now occupied by Hard Rock Cafe. The World replaced WWF New York which despite its prestigious location it was not a great business idea for the company.
