Roxanne Perez to defend NXT Women’s title in ladder match at Stand & Deliver

The current NXT Women’s champion Roxanne Perez has been added to the ladder match at this Saturday’s Stand & Deliver and will be defending her title in what now involves a total of six women.

Perez last appeared on NXT TV several weeks ago after successfully defending her title against Meiko Satomura, but a post-match injury angle where she fainted in the ring explained her absence from television.

On the taped episode of NXT yesterday, Perez filmed a segment with Shawn Michaels where she pleaded with HBK to let her defend the title. She said that doctors cleared her after she was diagnosed with anxiety and exhaustion.

Michaels didn’t want to do it but then gave up and allowed her to participate.

Speaking of the NXT Women’s title match, Indi Hartwell was the last person to qualify for the match after she beat Sol Rouca and Ivy Nile in a last chance match. She now joins Tiffany Stratton, Zoey Stark, Lyra Valkyria, Gigi Dolin, and Perez himself.
