Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso set to main event SummerSlam 2023

SummerSlam’s main event is set to feature the Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns defending his title against his cousin and one half of The Usos, Jey Uso.

Jey managed to pin Roman for the first time since December 2019 at the Money In The Bank premium live event in London this past Saturday. A decade ago, Jey was also the first man to pin Roman on the main roster when he was part of The Shield.

The Bloodline civil war storyline is expected to go on for the next few months as Reigns tries to get revenge on his cousins. Clips from the match on WWE’s YouTube channel has already garnered 3.6 million views plus an additional 4.1 million views on TikTok for the two clips from the match.

SummerSlam will be live from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, on August 5 where over 41,000 fans have already purchased a ticket.
