Rey Mysterio returned on Raw last night after an absence of nearly seven months.

The WWE Hall of Famer, who has been out with a groin injury since the eve of WrestleMania 41, interrupted his son Dominik, who was gloating in the ring saying he was the greatest luchador of all time.

“You really think you’re the greatest luchador of all time, huh?” Mysterio asked his son. “El Santo, Blue Demon, Eddie Guerrero? You think you’re better than them?”

After an “Eddie” chant from the crowd, Dom responded, “You keep my father’s name out of your mouth,” referring to Guerrero, saying that yes, he’s better than all of them.

Things soon turned physical, with Dom trying to cheap shot his father but Rey was ready, hitting him with a 619. As he tried to finish him off with a splash, the younger Mysterio slid out of the ring.
