Retribution’s Mia Yim tests positive for coronavirus

Mia Yim, who is part of Retribution as Reckoning, revealed last night that she tested positive for COVID-19.

“This morning at around 10:30AM, I debunked a rumor stating I was positive with Covid. For that, I must make a statement,” Yim wrote in a post on social media. “I have been getting tested every week for several months now, all have been negatives. I was negative last week. I got tested this afternoon less than an hour ago and it came back positive,” she continued.

With a positive result, Yim will obviously not be part of the Royal Rumble event even though officially she was never announced for the women’s match. Her COVID-19 diagnosis could also be a potential problem for another WWE Superstar, Keith Lee, who is in a relationship with Yim.

Lee has not appeared on WWE television for two weeks straight and he’s already announced to be part of the men’s Rumble match tonight. No announcement regarding Lee has been made yet.

“Please respect my privacy,” Yim continued. “Please stay safe, wash your hands, and wear a mask. See you all soon!”
