Report: Triple H “back” at WWE Performance Center / NXT

John Pollock from POST Wrestling is reporting that Triple H was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida yesterday and addressed the staff.

“Of the people I heard from, Levesque stated ‘he’s back’ – it is unknown what that entails but that was the wording I was given,” Pollock tweeted.

His report was confirmed by other industry insiders.

Triple H was unceremoniously removed from his position heading up NXT and the WWE PC in September before NXT was rebranded to NXT 2.0. His team was completely gutted, with only a few individuals remaining in power, namely Shawn Michaels and head coach Matt Bloom.

NXT under Triple H thrived big time but his removal from NXT was seen by many as a punishment for losing the Wednesday night war against AEW.

His cardiac event last year pushed Triple H farther away from the company for several months but the multi-time WWE champion returned to work full time in April.

His wife Stephanie is currently the interim Chairwoman and CEO of WWE, temporarily replacing Vince McMahon who is under investigation by the WWE Board of Directors.
