Randy Orton says his heart breaks for Kevin Owens

Speaking to Complex ahead of WrestleMania, Randy Orton said that his heart breaks for Kevin Owens after Owens had to pull out of his match at Mania against Orton due to neck problems which require surgery.

“Even more than a physical journey he’s gotta go on to let his body heal, it’s a mental journey too,” Orton said. “His body’s been through it, and now he’s paying that price, like he said in the ring the other day. We all pay the price at one point or another.”

The match was called off two weeks ago and Orton and Owens had a brief face-to-face on Smackdown where Orton told Owens off mic to go get himself fixed.

Orton also revealed that he set up Owens with a second opinion from a surgeon who he worked with previously. Orton underwent back surgery in 2022 and only returned at the Survivor Series in 2023.

The 14-time champ said that his advice to Kevin was to make the best decision for himself and his family.

Orton is still without a WrestleMania match, although his place is said to be guaranteed on the card, but against who remains a mystery.
