R-Truth suffers knee injury on NXT after high-flying move, match stopped

R-Truth suffered an injury last night during the live NXT on USA Network and the match against Grayson Waller had to be stopped.

Truth went for a dive over the top rope on the outside and didn’t get enough height in the jump, catching the ropes and missing Waller who was waiting for him on the outside. He also hit his head on the apron on the way down as the flip was too close to the ring.

Truth landed hard on the protective mat and immediately grabbed his right knee. Waller tapped on Truth’s shoes to see if he’s alright and the referee quickly went to check on him.

The show then went to a commercial break and after the medical team attended to Truth, the match was called off by the referee and Waller was declared the winner.
