Power outage knocks off live Smackdown broadcast off the air on Netflix

The live Smackdown broadcast on Netflix was full of technical issues in the first half hour or so as a power outage knocked out the broadcast.

PWInsider.com says that a power loss affected the entire production facility as well as the Gorilla position and the show was halted until things got back to normal.

WWE apologized to the international audience watching on Netflix in a post on X around 1:30PM and then followed that up with another post at 2PM saying things are now back up and running and that the show would be resuming.

This did not affect the U.S. version of the show as it aired on time delay on USA Network.
