Peacock to stream the last WWE main roster premium live event today

Today marks the last time a main roster WWE premium live event will air on Peacock, with Clash in Paris closing an almost five-year chapter for WWE on the Comcast-owned streaming service.

The plug is being pulled seven months prior to the original expiry date of March 2026 after WWE fulfilled its contractual obligations in terms of number of premium live events it was supposed to produce for Peacock. WWE PLEs will now move to ESPN starting with the September 20 event, Wrestlepalooza.

WWE and NBCUniversal Television and Streaming announced a five-year, near $1 billion dollar deal back on January 25, 2021 with the broadcaster acquiring the exclusive U.S. distribution rights to what was known as the WWE Network at the time. Fastlane was the first WWE show to air on the streaming service.

Peacock will, for now, still have the rights for the WWE Network video library until the end of this year and will continue to stream NXT premium live events until March 2026. All future Saturday Night’s Main Event shows will also continue streaming exclusively on Peacock.
