Speaking on Busted Open Radio on WWE Radio, Paige revealed that she was not originally scheduled to be on NXT on Wednesday but Triple H made a last minute decision on Monday to have her on the show.

Paige said that she was not the one who was going to answer Kelani Jordan’s open challenge, although stopped short of revealing who that was.

“I got called last minute. It wasn’t actually supposed to be me. Triple H pulled me aside in Brooklyn at the double taping and said, ‘Do you mind going down to NXT?’ I was like, ‘Oh sh*t. Yeah, definitely,’” she said.

She joked that she would have won back the title if she had more time to prepare.

“It is what it is. I know what to do next time if I get a little bit of time,” she added.
