Paige returns on Raw after over a year off television

Paige is back in “her house” as the former NXT and Divas champion made her return on WWE television last night on Raw after an absence of 15 months.

She did not come alone though and with her came along Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, the two Tough Enough participants who were part of the show when Paige was a judge.

All three attacked Mickie James, Bayley, and Sasha Banks who were in the ring and they each hit their finishing move. They later attacked Raw Women’s champion Alexa Bliss in a backstage segment.

The British star has not been seen on WWE television since August of 2016 due to two Wellness Program violations and then neck surgery. Her status with the company was up in the air mainly due to her relationship with Alberto El Patron and the videos they used to put together, where El Patron kept bashing WWE and its top officials with Paige silent, but still by his side.

In late March, disaster struck as several of her private photos and videos which contained full nudity were leaked on the Internet. Then in July, El Patron and Paige were involved in a fight at Orlando International Airport and if it wasn’t for her boyfriend who dropped the investigation, she would have been charged with domestic violence assault, effectively ending her WWE career for a third strike under the WWE Wellness Program.

Something that also kept Paige employed was the fact that WWE Studios and Seven Bucks Productions, the company owned by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, have a movie about her and her family which already completed filming and is now in post-production.
