Over 14,000 fans expected for Smackdown in Toronto tomorrow

Toronto has once again turned up for WWE as tomorrow nights Smackdown at the Scotiabank Arena has over 14,000 tickets sold at time of this writing.

The arena is set up for just over 14,500 seats according to @WrestleTix, with only the seats behind the stage closed off. WWE added several rows of seats with a limited view on both sides of the stage to accommodate the demand.

The show tomorrow will be headlined by Canada’s own Kevin Owens taking on CM Punk for the WWE Championship, a title match he earned after a surprise return at SummerSlam, winning a fatal four-way match which also included Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Gunther.

WWE is in Canada until Monday with shows in London, Edmonton, Calgary, and Ottawa apart from Toronto. The Ottawa show will be a double taping for Raw and Smackdown.
