Otis and Asuka win this year’s Money In The Bank ladder matches

There are two happy individuals who will be parading around with the Money In The Bank briefcases following yesterday’s pay-per-view: Asuka and an unlikely winner, Otis!

WWE made history by having both matches being held at the same time at WWE corporate headquarters in Stamford. The women’s match started at the lobby while the men’s match started inside the gym.

Both sets of Superstars worked they way up (literally) inside Titan Towers, some taking the elevators, others the stairs, as the combined 12 Superstars attempted to go even higher by climbing the ladder and retrieving the briefcase that was hanging from a tower crane on the roof.

Asuka was the first one the grab the briefcase and found herself on the top of the ladder with King Corbin, who was close to securing his second MITB ladder match win. But the former champ had other ideas and sent Corbin crashing down to retrieve her briefcase.

But Corbin would have another close attempt at winning, but not before throwing both Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black off of the top of Titan Towers! Hey, isn’t that attempted murder!? Corbin eventually found himself at the top again but AJ Styles tried to fend him off.

The two unhooked the briefcase together but Elias came out of nowhere and smashed Corbin with a guitar in the back. Corbin let go of the briefcase and came crashing down again and just when AJ was about to be declared the winner, he fumbled the briefcase which landed on Otis, who grabbed it and held it tight to be crowned Mr. Money In The Bank!
