Oba Femi returns to NXT

Oba Femi returned to NXT last night during the closing moments of the show after Ricky Saints defeated Trick Williams in a last man standing match to retain the NXT title.

With the credits rolling and Saints in the middle of the ring about to celebrate, the house lights went dark and the green laser shot up as Femi’s theme song kicked in to a big pop from the crowd.

“The ruler is here,” screamed Vic Joseph on commentary, as Femi made his way out, standing at the top of the stage with just his silhouette visible among the smoke and lights.

Femi has been off WWE television since September and the NXT No Mercy premium live event where he lost the NXT title to Saints.
